A free Saturday afternoon at *SCAPE unpacking what social services actually do, for youths and young adults.
Social services is one of those sectors everyone nods at but few can describe in detail. This session at *SCAPE, run by Blended Concept, takes three hours on a Saturday afternoon and lays out three things: the people in the sector, the programmes they run, and the purpose behind it all. If you're a youth or young adult who's wondered what a career or volunteer stint in this space actually looks like, this is the version you can sit down and ask questions at.
It runs 2pm to 5pm on Sat 10 Oct 2026 at *SCAPE, 2 Orchard Link, and it's free to attend. Open to youths and young adults. A straightforward Saturday afternoon in the Orchard area with no cover charge — worth a look if the sector's been on your mind.
