Yip Yew Chong's nostalgic food scenes get the digital treatment at Punggol Library — a gallery running 16 to 31 Oct 2026.
A digital gallery of Yip Yew Chong's work is taking over the Stories Come Alive Room on Level 1 of Punggol Library. The local artist's paintings — food scenes among them — are presented with immersive elements, so this is his familiar subject matter seen through a screen rather than along a gallery wall. Everything is in English.
It opens on Fri 16 Oct at 10am and runs through Sat 31 Oct, which gives you a fortnight to wander in. Admission is listed for adults aged 36 to 49 and seniors aged 50 and above, so it's pitched squarely at grown-ups rather than a family day out. The event code is TOYLC26 if you're looking it up.
