Coffee-with-a-Cop (CWC)

Coffee-with-a-Cop is exactly what it sounds like: Community Policing Officers and residents in the same room, talking informally over a drink rather than across a counter. No agenda, no form to fill — you turn up, you get a drink, you talk. The session runs in English and is aimed at residents aged 18 and up, with young adults, parents, working adults and seniors all named in the stated audience.

It happens on Thursday 15 Oct 2026, 2pm to 3pm, at Sengkang Library — an hour, in a part of the island where plenty of residents are within a short walk or one LRT stop of the venue. If you have a question you have been meaning to ask a neighbourhood officer, or just want to know who is patrolling your block, this is the low-effort way to do it. Come alone or bring whoever you usually walk to the library with; the format is a conversation, not a briefing.
